I agonized over this purchase. Junior / Special / Junior / Special ….. I finally decided that the second pickup made this guitar more flexible. And it is. But I still had to have a Junior. See below ;-)
But, regardless, the Special is a superb guitar. The Custom Shop's attention to detail has resulted in an instrument that has it all. Fantastic looks, incredible playability due to the huge rounded neck profile, and tone for days. A slab of mahagony, a big fat neck, 2 P90's and a wrap tail - what else could anyone ask for?
But I still need to get a Junior….. (which I eventually did)
