1968 Gibson SG Standard

I bought this guitar in 1971, new, for $225 (that included a case and tax!). I modified it a little bit along the way, removing the tail-piece and installing a stop bridge in its place, as well as upgrading the tuners to Grovers. More recently, I replaced the pots and caps as well. This guitar has a really unusual neck for an SG - it is as fat as a baseball bat, and I love it - I have never played another guitar like it. I dated it recently only to find out it is most likely 1968 model - even better! This is the guitar that I have owned for the longest period of time.
